Here’s what’s happening on Sunday Morning…
Family reunions, vacations, trips to the lake…Summer seems to be a time for reconnecting, resting, relaxing and having fun. This month we will begin by exploring the profound importance of rest in our lives. We will learn how to find a healthy balance of rest, work, and play, understand the rhythm of rest modeled by God, and affirm that God has given everyone the gift of rest to be embraced.
August 3- “Rhythms of Rest”- Genesis 2:1-3 Service of Holy Communion.
August 10- “ The Gift of Rest”- Exodus 20:8-11 Baptism Renewal Service
August 17- Guest Preachers- Rev. Toni and Rev. Scott Carmer
August 24- Guest Preachers- Rev. Toni and Rev. Scott Carmer
August 31- “Sing to the Lord”- Service of Song
Backpacks of Blessings
During the month of August we will be collecting school supplies. These items will be given to 2 local schools for teachers to distribute to students in need. See the list of needed items below…
