December News
Sights, sounds, smells, and taste are different during the holidays. At Christmas we celebrated that in Jesus, God took on flesh and entered into our world. During Advent, we will explore the season through the sights, sounds, tastes, smells and feelings we experience.
December 1-Do You See What I See? Together we will consider how lights and other visuals prepare us for something new and serve as deep symbols of HOPE.
December 8- Do You Hear What I Hear? What sounds cause us to reflect on the season and help us to express the JOYwe experience?
December 15- Taste and See There are certain tastes and smells that bring us a sense of PEACE and comfort. From the manna in the wilderness to the bread and wine of Holy Communion, we will taste and see that the Lord is good.
December 22- Do You Feel What I Feel? Jesus understood the power of human touch. He touched those others considered untouchable and showed them his LOVE.
