Welcome to the new Robison Chapel Newsletter! Each month we will highlight the most important things you need to know for the month ahead. If other important news arises, we will send a “special edition” to keep you up to date.

Mission Spotlight

The RCUMC Mission Team was relaunched at the beginning of this year with a plan to serve local, regional and global ministries. Locally, each month we are collecting specific needed items for the Huntertown Food Pantry. During the month of March we will be collecting PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY.

Regionally, we have chosen to partner with Midwest Mission to help provide needed items which will be distributed through their ministry partners. This month we are receiving monetary donations to provide for Tornado Kits. $50 will provide for 1 kit. (To learn more about Midwest Mission, check out the link below!)

The United Methodist Committee on Relief provides emergency aid all across the world. Sunday, March 10th is UMCOR Sunday. On that day we will learn more about how this wonderful organization operates. We will also be collecting a special offering for UMCOR that day.

Your Mission Team voted to give $1,000 to provide camp scholarships to local students who would otherwise be unable to attend church camp this summer. They also voted to send $1,000 to Mission Guatemala. This donation will allow 3 students to attend school for 1 year.

Church Camp

Church Camp is a unique chance to get away from daily distractions and focus on what really matters. Through beautiful locations, exciting activities, and intentional relationships, campers are able to grow closer to God. If you know a student (K-12th grade) invite them to attend camp this summer.
